Mundia Mubyana, FCAS, possesses a wealth of actuarial work experience which includes having served in actuarial roles at Allstate, The Hartford, Willis Towers Watson, and BDO. Mr. Mubyana is an expert in how to successfully prepare for actuarial exams having never failed an exam in earning his FCAS designation. Each Seminar of The Exam 8 4-Part Seminar Series Offers the Following:
- Theoretical analysis focusing on filling in any gaps not understood in the theory behind the syllabus topics and showing how certain formulas can easily be derived when needed thereby reducing dependence on memorization and instead emphasizing understanding the assumptions underlying the formulas
- Problem solving critical review discussing past exam problem solutions with an additional emphasis on how to approach problems with a “problem solving” mindset that allows students to be calm, open minded, flexible, and methodical when encountering difficult and/or new types of questions. Learn correction direction in answering problems applying theory and not getting tricked up. There will also be a strong focus on using strategies to maximizes partial credit
- Open Forum following each seminar in which students can ask questions regarding all topics
- Email correspondence with Mundia Mubyana with quick turn-around time up to the day of the exam sitting
