The Exam 6U preparation program offers candidates instruction on theoretical syllabus topics, problem solving strategies, and time optimization principles to facilitate success in the upcoming Fall 2024 sitting. Participants will be guided by an experienced FCAS throughout the exam preparation cycle. The program is in no way a replacement for self-study but will help candidates hit the ground running as they navigate challenging syllabus topics and difficult exam/practice questions during their preparation process.
About the Instructor
The course will be instructed by Mundia Mubyana, FCAS, MAAA. Mr. Mubyana has over two decades of full-time actuarial work experience spanning pricing, reserving, and ERM. He has previously worked at Allstate, The Hartford, and Willis Towers Watson. In addition, he has held roles in audit and private equity firms. Since 2022 he has been actively involved in tutoring students for exams MAS-I to exam 9. His students have had pass rates significantly higher than the overall candidate pool. This can be attributed to Mr. Mubyana’s prior success with taking actuarial exams (he obtained his FCAS 2.5 years after graduating from college and never failed an exam) and his willingness to share his strategies and tactics with any student regardless of their work experience, academic ability, and background.
