    Each project will guide students through reserving fundamentals, cash flow projections, and assumptions setting.

    Claims Reserving Projects

    Students can complete individual projects covering key reserving techniques:

    1. Chain Ladder Method
    2. Expected Loss Ratio (ELR) Method
    3. Bornhuetter–Ferguson (BF) Method

    Each method will be delivered as a separate, practical reserving project.

    Generalized Linear Models (GLM) for Pricing

    A full project where students build rating models for non-life products using GLMs (Poisson, Gamma, Tweedie), interpret parameter estimates, and derive rating relativities.

    IAS 19 Employee Benefits Valuation

    A complete project covering projected benefit obligations (PBO), service cost, interest cost, discounting, and reporting requirements under IAS 19.

    IFRS 17 Training Project

    A structured project walking students through fulfillment cash flows, risk adjustment, CSM measurement, and financial reporting under IFRS 17.

    Lapse Study / Experience Analysis Project

    A practical project where students perform data cleansing, calculate actual vs. expected lapses, determine lapse rates by duration.
