Patty Simpson, CEO of DW Simpson

Patty Simpson co-founded D.W. Simpson & Company with her late husband, David W. Simpson, in 1989. She established the focus of the firm to Actuarial Recruiting. As managing partner for 20 years, Patty  managed and trained staff, numbering over 50 across the globe. Patty’s current role as CEO focuses on strategic operations for DW Simpson. In addition, Patty over the years has made presentations on a variety of topics at both Society of Actuaries and Casualty Actuarial Society meetings. She has also been featured in many Actuarial Digest roundtable discussions and other trade publications. She is also a speaker and member of the PWC Actuarial Woman’s and Diversity Forum, 2016 – present. Patty participates in the annual IABA Bootcamp, and her company has been on the IABA CAC for 25 years. Patty graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Business from the University of Minnesota.
